The owner of Sandy’s Dry Cleaners and East Bay Cleaners, Sandy Dunn Weaver, is excited to reopen the decades-old community staple, Moncks Corners Cleaners. Since 1945 Moncks Corner Cleaners has provided excellent customer service and professional dry cleaning to the residents of Moncks Corner. We intend to preserve and protect the character Moncks Corner Cleaners has embodied for many generations including the same unwavering commitment to the community.
Sandy Weaver and her team at Sandy’s Dry Cleaners have been providing professional dry-cleaning services for Charleston area customers since 1998. Our continual goal is to provide the utmost quality care for your garments while providing customer service that always exceeds your expectations. This commitment has been rewarded by being voted the BEST Dry Cleaner in Charleston several years in a row by multiple local platforms. Whichever of our 10 ownership locations you patron (the Charleston peninsula, Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Island, North Charleston, Ladson, Hanahan, Summerville, Goose Creek, Clements Ferry, or Moncks Corner) our staff is there to satisfy all of your dry-cleaning needs.
Sandy Weaver opened her first location, Sandy’s Dry Cleaners on Trolley Rd, 25 years ago after an extremely successful career as one of the few female engineers in South Carolina. She took her analytical mindset and looked for local business endeavors that would align with her skill set and work-family balance needs, and Sandy’s was built. Nine years later as a single mom of three, Sandy continued to grow her dry-cleaning empire while battling Stage II breast cancer. The umbrella of Sandy’s dry-cleaners are more than businesses; they are a representation of what women can overcome and achieve with the right support, mindset and dream.
